The number of people killed on the roads has fallen from 15.6% in may, month of the first phase of the déconfinement in metropolitan France, according to road Safety figures published on Monday. 205 people died on the roads, or 38 fewer than a year earlier (243). No cause for celebration
“In may 2020, the mortality of young people of 18-24 years old and seniors aged 65 years or more, are equivalent to those of the month of may in 2019, despite ten days of confinement at the beginning of the month,” notes the road Safety.
