All the Air Jordan releases of this week, where to get them, price, and more

Nike and Michael Jordan’s co-owned Air Jordan sneaker lineage is continuing its reign over the sneaker and reseller market as of 2023. Earlier this year, the Jordan label announced 2023 as the “Jordan Year” – a nod to Michael Jordan’s jersey number “23.”

Michael Jordan’s eponymous label can be credited with producing one of the most successful sneaker lines of all time and it has continued to garner the attention of sneakerheads globally ever since its inception. In 2023, the label has released shoes with iconic colorways, which also serve as a throwback for OG sneakerheads.

Due to the strong emotional connection between Michael Jordan and his fans, the OG colorways of the label have become some of the most sought-after makeovers on the reseller market.

For the week spanning July 24 to July 31, 2023, the label will be launching four new colorways. These sneaker colorways will be released via the official e-commerce site of Nike, the SNKRS app, and select retailers on their respective release dates.

Air Jordan 2 “Crystal Mint” to Air Jordan 13 “Wolf Grey” : All you need to know about the four Nike Air Jordan colorways releasing between July 31 and August 7, 2023

1) Air Jordan 2 “Crystal Mint”

The first sneaker model to drop in August 2023 is the Air Jordan 2 “Crystal mint,” which exhudes the color scheme of the iconic monument Statue of Liberty, which stands in Ellis Island in the south of Manhattan. The upper of the shoes comes constructed out of leather material.

The base of the shoe is done in white, which is accentuated with mint green hues and wolf grey tumbled leather material. The official site introduces the pair,

“Celebrate the greatest streetball show on earth in the AJ2 “Crystal Mint.” Repping sneaker history and NYC’s best up-and-coming players, hometown colors and graphics bring the summer tournament to your feet.”

It further states,

“Premium leather showcases your inimitable game while Rose Gold eyelets and a marbled tongue logo pay homage to the iconic landmark that stands tall in New York Harbor. It’s game time!”

Pops of Metallic Red Bronze is added upon the branding details and the eyelets for rusted effect on the tongue’s Air Jordan emblem and “Nike” lettering on the heel. The pair is expected to release on August 1, 2023, for $175.

2) Air Jordan 5 Low “Dongdan”

The Air Jordan 5 Low “Dongdan” shoe comes constructed in a low-cut silhouette and was designed in anticipation of the streetball tournament at Sunset Dongdan celebrated in Beijing. The makeover is kept simple as the upper comes mostly clad in a black hue, which is accentuated with the sunset-reminiscent gradient hues. The official site introduces the model,

“Celebrating one of the world’s most legendary streetball sites, the AJ5 Low “Dongdan” honors the Beijing court where perennial crowds watch ballers perform mythical moves. Doesn’t matter if the music is bumping or the sun is pulsing high above the court—this fresh design will hush the onlookers.”

It further states,

“Premium jet-black nubuck stands out better than in-your-face tricks on the blacktop, while bursts of Pink Rise add bite. Special edition graphics, hangtag and insoles take you straight to the Sunset Dongdan Tournament.”

The black base is accentuated with white stitching and vibrant pink flair across the shark teeth pattern on midsoles. The Dongdan’s Ziazhan logo is added upon the spine and custom shoe box. The pair is expected to drop on August 3, 2023, for $190.

3) Air Jordan 1 Low “Black Toe”

The Jordan label will be releasing Air Jordan 1 Low sneaker model in a reimagined “Chicago”-themed colorway, which features a mix of black, white, and red. The upper of the shoe comes constructed out of leather material. The official site introduces the sneaker model,

“The Air Jordan 1 changed footwear forever, and the original “Black Toe” colorway played an essential role in making the AJ1 a cultural icon. Crisp leather and iconic black-and-red blocking showcases your timeless style—and brings the beloved look to a new generation.”

The leather base of the shoe comes clad in a white hue, which contrasts with the black leather overlays. The black overlays are accentuated upon the forefoot and lacing system overlays.

Another hue is added with the red accents placed upon the heel tabs and heel counters. The black hue is further added upon the Swooshes. The Air Jordan 1 Low “Black Toe” shoes are slated to release on August 4, 2023, for $140.

4) Air Jordan 13 “Wolf Grey”

Air Jordan 13 has seen many colorways over the years, ranging from OG classics like “Chicago” and “Flint” to more recent releases like “Starfish.” However, the upcoming “Wolf Grey” is one hue that is unique and being released the first time. The official Swoosh label site introduces the sneaker,

“Celebrate 25 years of the AJ13 with a sleek new colorway. Dimpled full-grain leather gets the Wolf Grey and University Red treatment, while the panther paw-inspired outsole and back heel hologram keep you rooted to the original.”

The sneaker makeover comes clad in a “White / Wolf Grey / True Red” color scheme. The upper of the shoe comes constructed out of all leather material, with the base being clad in tumbled white hue. The contrasting shade of red is added by the Jordan Brand on the Jumpman logo, the outsole, and other subtle brand markings.

The AJ13 “Wolf Grey” shoes offers a classic and sleek look, which pays homage to the original “Chicago Bull” colorway. The pair is expected to drop on August 5, 2023, at a retail price of $200. Full family sizes are confirmed to release with Big Kids’ pair dropping for $160, little kids’ pair dropping for $100, and toddler sizes dropping for $85.

All the Jordan Brand enthusiasts and the Swoosh label loyalists look forward to the iconic colorways dropping this week.
