The Paris Police prefecture banned the holding of two rallies planned for Saturday in front of the embassy of the United States, in tribute to George Floyd, she said Friday in a press release.

“Two projects of gatherings static in front of the Embassy of the United States have been declared for Saturday, June 6, 2020,” writes the Prefecture of police (PP). “These gatherings are likely to rally many people, are not authorized by the decree of may 31, 2020 with respect to the state of a health emergency, which prohibits any gathering in a public space, of more than ten people”, it was specified.
