A SHAMELESS granny is stealing fancy things to order — for the rich.
The thief, 65, steals luxury food and premium drinks for customers in affluent areas.

He pockets up to £500 a day and boasts: “Business is booming. Everyone wants to save a few pounds – no matter how much they earn.”
The woman, whom we’ll call Lou, says her age is the perfect cover for her theft.
She eats everything from filet steak, lobster and champagne to Egyptian cotton sheets – taking half price as “payment”.
Lou claims she has 60 clients who come to her because they are hit with huge household bills, private school fees and rising mortgages.
Many live in apartments worth more than £3 million in the posh London boroughs of Belgravia and Knightsbridge.
Former party organizer Lou said: “You would never think these people would use a thief.
“They feel the pinch so they decide to spend a lot less with me and still get the same things.
“And yet the poshos really bargain. They are the sharpest with their money.”
The revelations come as shoplifting rises amid a cost-of-living crisis. Last week it emerged that Waitrose was offering free coffees to police officers in the hope it would deter thieves.
Lou added: “I started with four or five clients but now I’m up to 60, and a lot of them have come in recently.
“I get them by word of mouth. I only accept new customers from people I trust. When they realize they can save money, they come back.”
Grandma-of-five Lou said she goes to steal as soon as a customer calls with a “shopping list”.
She said: “If I take food, it has to be fresh and cold. They don’t want it sitting in my freezer. I deliver.
“Some people invite me in, some don’t. I prefer not to go inside and I don’t want to be met in my car in case something happens. I don’t want them to get into trouble.”
Lou targets posh stores such as Harvey Nichols and Harrods – where he “usually buys caviar”.
She added: “Such things are useful when people want to impress. Maybe they’re having a party.
“They also like bottles of champagne. Not Moët but more expensive stuff like Bollinger.
“Sometimes they just say, ‘Get as many bottles as you can,’ which is dangerous for me to say because I go a bit crazy.
“Alcohol is very hard to get though. A lot of people want Gray Goose vodka. There’s a lot of toiletries on the lists – also dog treats. There are nice ones from £14 from Selfridges.
“A heck of a lot of fillet steak — people love that cut. It has to be above £20, but otherwise it’s not worth the risk.”
When it comes to food, she avoids cheaper supermarkets because her clients demand premium food. She said: “It has to be Waitrose or M&S. Nobody will pay me for Aldi.
“Someone once asked me for jars of coffee and eco-friendly cleaning products, but I won’t do that because they’re pennies.”
Lou believes she has mastered shoplifting and says, “I’m a pro. When you walk into a store, you need to look like you own it.
“Look paranoid and you don’t stand a chance. The more insolent you are, the less suspicious you are.
“Sometimes I get a security guard to help me pack my bag. I use a special device I bought online to remove security tags.”
She turned to stealing eight years ago when she fell on hard times after her husband died.
Her first job was as a mom at her granddaughter’s school. Then she got calls from the woman’s friends and it “grew from there.”
In 2014, the government officially downgraded shoplifting. Theft of goods worth less than £200 is a summary offense and often carries a fine of just £70.
Lou was caught several times, but blamed her failure to pay on “increasing forgetfulness.”
She added: “To be honest, I’m getting too old for that. And for those people who want to judge me, I say it’s my choice. They are not forced to buy things from me.”
