There are several animal videos that leave us amazed. Among such clips, a video showing how a giraffe narrowly escaped from 20 lions is going viral on social networks. This incident took place in Xai Xai, Botswana, and was filmed by 28-year-old self-employed entrepreneur David Sher. It was shared on the YouTube channel Latest Sightings.

Sher told Latest Sightings: “During our drive to Xai Xai Camp, where we were supposed to spend the night, we found ourselves driving along a sandy road along the river. We didn’t have high hopes of spotting anything, but then we ran into a pride of lions — A pleasant surprise!”
He further added: “It was a very peaceful few hours spent observing their routine, from waking up to quenching their thirst and taking a leisurely stroll. But the calm was soon disturbed when they saw a giraffe. The change in their pace was instantaneous. The video shows the lions slowly walking towards the giraffe. Meanwhile, the giraffe, unaware of the presence of the lions, enjoys a drink of water. Then, within a second, the lions pick up speed and run towards the giraffe.
After the animal spots a group running towards it, it runs in the opposite direction to save itself.
