The journey of a relatively unknown group of superheroes to the mainstays of Marvel is one of the most surprising sagas in the MCU. Think about where actors were in their careers before 2014. Chris Pratt (jurassic world) was a funny guy in Parks and Recreation. Zoe Saldana (Avatar: The path of water) was best known for Avatar, but that film garnered more praise for its technical prowess than its acting. David Baptist (Dune) was still trying to shed his WWE image. The two biggest stars of the film: Hangover Bradley Cooper and fast x Vin Diesel – played a raccoon and a tree.
Still, these actors came together as a flawed but charming team that audiences could root for. vol. 3 it’s the end of the trilogy as many actors, like Bautista and Saldaña, are leaving the MCU. James Gun (suicide squad) will also leave Marvel to head DC Studios. This will be the final version of Guardians with this cast and crew. For their final mission, the team set out to protect Rocket and prevent the universe’s demise. It’s an emotional sendoff for the outsiders of the MCU.

A shotgun weddinga surprisingly entertaining action-comedy in which Lopez plays a bride who battles armed men holding her wedding guests hostage.
Now Lopez is a killer in an action thriller, Mother. Lopez plays the lead Mother, a former assassin who abandons her deadly profession to protect her daughter after a deal with the FBI goes awry. However, her 12-year-old daughter was kidnapped to lure her Mother out of her hiding place. A bad move as the Mother shoots herself, stabs herself, and tortures herself by returning to her past life, chasing the kidnappers who took her daughter. With Lopez as the action hero, Mother has a chance to open at number one on the Netflix chart.
Mother airs on Netflix on May 12.
Fast X (May 19)

There are friends. There is a family. And then there’s yours Fast and Furious family, undoubtedly the most important of the three. It’s hard to comprehend that the main story in 2001 is Fast and Furious it revolved around a group of street racers who steal electronics from trucks. For comparison, F9 had a scene where Tej (furious 7 Ludacris) and Roman (transformers Tyrese Gibson) flew to the International Space Station in a modified Pontiac Fiera. It was great.
The family will be put to the test once again. quick x, the tenth film in the Fast Saga. Don Toretto (Guardians of the GalaxyVin Diesel) faces another challenger from his past. Dante Reyes (from aquaman Jason Momoa), son of drug trafficker Hernán Reyes, wants to avenge his father’s death at the end fast five. Dante joins forces with Cipher (long shot Charlize Theron), the cyberterrorist and villain from the previous two movies, to hurt Dom and his loved ones. Actually Fast and Furious Mode, the action-packed trailer promises to be as fun and entertaining as ever as Dom rallies his team to protect his family.

Reboots tend to have a negative connotation in Hollywood, a reputation mostly justified. in 1968 monkey planetin 1976 carrieand in 1991 breaking point they are all classic movies whose reputation has taken a hit after being rebooted in the 21st century. I’d like to believe that reboots are driven by creativity and the challenge of reimagining a familiar story in modern times. Unfortunately, reboots tend to be financially motivated and seen as a grab for cash to capitalize on existing intellectual property.
I say all this to present the next film that we will see in May, Whites can’t jumpa reboot of the 1992 film of the same name. The 2023 version stars Sinqua Walls (American Soul) as Kamal and Jack Harlow (The Instigators) as Jeremy, reimagined roles played by Wesley Snipes (Blade) and Woody Harrelson (champions) in the original. As in the first film, Kamal and Jeremy go after players to win money, culminating in a lucrative basketball tournament with a $500,000 jackpot. Walls and Harlow have real chemistry in the trailer, providing just enough intrigue to make this movie worth watching.

Rudyard Kipling’s The Jungle Book, 101 Dalmatians, and 102 Dalmatians demonstrated that audiences are interested in seeing Disney animation brought to life with human actors. However, the soundtrack of Little Mermaid It’s fantastic, and kids will be drawn to this story, so I bet it’s going to become Disney’s next billion-dollar hit.
