- Select the ‘Internet E-mail’ option to connect to POP, IMAP or HTTP and click ‘Next’.
- Now you need to enter the necessary information in the e-mail settings on the Internet:
User information
Your Name: Enter the name you want to show to others
Email address: Enter your full AT&T email address
Server Information
Account type: Choose IMAP or POP3
Incoming mail server: imap.mail.att.net (IMAP) or inbound.att.net (POP3)
Outbound server: smtp.mail.att.net (IMAP) or outbound.att.net (POP3)
Login information
Username: Enter your full email address.
Password: Enter your AT&T Secure Mail key
Check the ‘Require login with Secure Password Authentication (SPA)’ box and click ‘More settings’.
- Click the ‘Outgoing Server’ tab and check the ‘My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication’ box. Select the ‘Use the same settings as my incoming mail server’ option.
- Click on the “Advanced” tab and enter the required information.
Incoming mail server – enter 993 (IMAP) or 995 (POP3)
