Ireti Doyle, a Hollywood actress, has announced that she is divorcing veteran actor Patrick Doyle.
Ireti Doyle, 55, confirmed her divorce from veteran actor Patrick Doyle in an interview with Chude Jideonwo, stating, “We are officially divorced.”
The mother-of-six also set the record straight about the misconception that she gave birth to her first child at 17, stating that she was actually 19 when she first gave birth.
Chude revealed in the introduction that the actress experienced physical and domestic violence during her teenage years.
She backed up her claim by stating that she was in no condition to marry at the time, let alone the person she chose to marry.
The Tinsel actress said: “In retrospect, I realize that I should not have married at that point in my life, let alone the person I chose as a partner.”
Ireti and Patrick Doyle were married in 2004 and were blessed with six children, however they tragically lost one to sickle cell disease. In 2017, Ireti decided to leave home after a disagreement with his spouse, which has not been disclosed.
Two years later, Patrick Doyle publicly apologized to his wife on social media, admitting he was to blame for their relationship problems.
