Afghanistan cricketers groove to Lungi Dance to celebrate win over Pakistan. Watch

On 23 October, Afghanistan secured their second win at the 2023 Cricket World Cup by beating Pakistan by eight wickets. On the way back to the hotel, they danced to the tunes of Lungi Dance to celebrate their victory. Now a video of their celebratory performance is circulating on social networks.

“Pakistan cannot recover from this loss! Afghanistan’s victory celebration is a seal of approval,” reads the caption written alongside the video shared on X. The video shows the Afghan team dancing on a bus. While some players stand between the seats and do a move or two to the happy song, others sit in their seats and play along.
