AHSEC Class 12 Results 2023: The Assam Senior Secondary Education Board (AHSEC) announced the Grade 12 results for Science, Arts, Commerce and Vocational streams on Tuesday, June 6. year 2023, in online mode. According to published data, a total of 329,901 students took the 12th grade exam this year. Among them 240,431 passed the Assam HS exam.
The pass rate of Grade 12 Science students in Assam was 84.96%, while the Commerce stream had a pass rate of 79.57% and the Arts stream recorded a pass rate of 70.12%. Assam Council (AHSEC) has seen a decline of 7 to 13% year-on-year, which is the lowest pass rate in the past 10 years since 2014.

There was a significant drop in the arts stream, with pass rates dropping from 83.48% in the previous year to 70.12%. In science, the pass rate fell from 92.19% to 84.96%, while the commercial pass rate fell from 87.27% to 79.57%. Similarly, in vocational guidance, the pass rate decreased from 89.30% last year to 85.61%.

Assam HS results 2023: Reaching percentage by sex
Girls scored better than boys with a pass rate of 72.92% while 66.94% of boys passed the Assam board 12th grade exam this year. Check out the pass rate by gender in the table below:

Speaking of the tops, Sankalpajit Saikia from the Arts stream took first place in the Assam HS exam by scoring 490 points out of 500. In the Science stream, Nikhilesh Dutta was placed at the top with a total The score is 484 points. In the Commercial stream, there are two girls named Varsha Bothra and Sukanya Kumar who got first place with the same score of 472 points.

After the announcement of Assam Board Year 12 Results, Assam State Education Minister Ranoj Pegu shared a tweet from his official Twitter and announced that in 2022, AHSEC will take 76 days to assess 205,625 candidate. This year, 329,901 candidates, or 124,276 residuals, were graded and given results after 77 days.
