Airris was encouraged by his best friend, a Nashville Software School Cohort 22 alumnus, to apply to web development. And Airris did exactly that and is now graduating from the regular web development cohort of 54.
The MAFS competitor also said that his favorite part of the Nashville Software School (NSS) experience was the constant support and encouragement from the instructional team, as well as his classmates. He also said, “The group projects were very informative and challenging. I loved seeing everyone’s growth during our 6 months together.”
For Airris, the biggest obstacle was doubt. He said he wished he hadn’t been less strict with himself at the beginning of the cohort. This habit led him to spend too much time trying to find solutions on his own and without asking for help.
In addition to his Nashville Software School Full-Stack Software Development Bootcamp certification, Airris also has a Bachelor of Applied Science in Finance from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, where he studied from August 2002 to May 2007.
