However, Aleeza never intended to be a matchmaker. Although she was born and raised Jewish, she was drawn to incorporate more spirituality and traditional religious practices into her daily life. “I found out that she loved my Judaism, but she was not living my Judaism. Everything these other Jews do, I didn’t do because they just didn’t raise me,” she explained.
So she took it upon herself to learn everything from lessons about Shabbat and keeping kosher to the power of prayer and modest dress. She wasn’t trying to make me into anything other than finding myself and finding myself within my Judaism,” she added.
When he was old enough, he developed an “extremely strong desire” to get married and have a family. So she married her boyfriend after only a few months of dating and moved to Israel.
