At Georgetown Hospital, Dr. Nkemakonam received direct training from internationally recognized and published oral and maxillofacial surgeon Dr. Jeffrey Posnick, with whom he has co-authored numerous publications on the long-term results of orthognathic surgery in patients with dentofacial deformities.
His career began as a resident doctor at the POSNICK Center for Orthognathic and Reconstructive Cleft Surgery from 2016 to 2017. He then worked as a medical resident at ZEBOVITZ, Center for Advanced TMJ and Orthognathic Surgery.
