Bachelor, professional ballerina and TikTok influencer Alicia Mae Holloway stunned her followers with a story about her family.
Alicia claims that the white woman who was her biological mother had an affair with a black man, her biological father. The affair resulted in Alicia’s biological mother becoming pregnant with her. To hide her infidelity, Alicia’s biological mother chose adoption. However, she was looking for a reason why she and her husband did not want to welcome a fourth child into their family.
At the time, Alicia’s birth mother already had three children with her white husband. In the end, she told her husband about her transgressions. According to Alicia, he “wasn’t very happy about it.” However, they decided as a couple to hide their infidelity and give the child up for adoption.
To satisfy curious family and friends, her biological mother concocted a “stillborn child” story. “My birth mom … said, ‘I’m going to tell them the baby is stillborn.’ So when August 31st, 1996 comes around, I’m born, so obviously I’m being put up for adoption by two of the best parents I could ever ask for. And then when my parents took me away, she said her friends and family sent balloons and flowers and all that stuff saying, ‘I’m so sorry for your loss’ because she told them I died at birth.”
Alicia was not aware of this story until she turned 18. None of her birth parents’ family and friends know about it except her mom’s best friend.
In the period before the adoption, Alicia claims that her adoptive mother visited a psychic. In one session, an alleged psychic advised an adoptive family to go to a family meeting in Washington, Pennsylvania. In it, her biological mother is said to have acknowledged their family’s “racist” history, her infidelity scandal and their financial difficulties.
All in all, she revealed that they were trying to find an adoptive home for the young man. At that meeting, Alicia’s birth mother and adopted mother became close, and the rest is history.
Alicia’s adoptive parents were happily married for 37 years as of November 2023. On their anniversary in December 2022, Alicia wished her parents: “Happy 37th wedding anniversary to two of the best people I know. Thank you for being two of the best parents a girl could ask for. Evelyn Holloway is the adoptive mother of Alicia Mae Holloway.
According to her Facebook, Evelyn came from Berlin, Germany, but now lives in Morgantown, West Virginia. Surprisingly, she is now married to Alicia’s adoptive father, Kenneth Holloway, who is black.
Before that, she was married to her ex-husband Joachim Hennicke, a German citizen living in Berlin, Germany.
As of 2023, Evelyn is 76 years old as she was born in May 1947.
On Evelyn’s birthday in May 2022, Alicia wished her mother: “Happy birthday to my beautiful mom. I love you so much!!! Evelyn Holloway.”

Speaking about how Kenneth became “the best dad ever”, Alicia shared how Kenneth was raised by his grandmother and Ken and his dad didn’t get along at all. Kenneth said that he is the best “uncle, dad, brother” because his dad was never one of them and he wanted to be the complete opposite of his own father.

Understandably, Alicia explained, “My heart sank into my stomach.”
“Hey, did anyone call you about anything?” the poster questioned her father, hoping to find out if her brother had really passed away. Her dad replied, “No. We didn’t hear a peep.” Unfortunately, Alicia’s nephews, who happen to be older than her, confirmed, “Oh yes, she is.”
What hurt Alicia the most was that no one bothered to call her mother. She explained, “What upsets me so much is that my mom was like Mario’s ride or die decision.” She went on to say, “It’s… you know… it’s our mom. It’s his mom and no one even remembered to call.”
Mario was 53 years old when he died. He is survived by his wife, Delores King Hennicke of Norfolk, Virginia; and three sons, Mario Hennicke, Chad Hennicke and Chris King.
