Meet Alicia Rohbock, ex-wife of Rulon Jeffs
Rulon Jeffs, president and prophet of the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (FLDS), had 65 wives when he died in September 2002 at the age of 92. Rulon married women even in his 80s. He appeared in a four-part Netflix documentary series. Be sweet: pray and obey which exposes the very disturbing details of a secret sect that practices polygamy.
His parents were members of the FLDS. As Rulon remembers, she always wanted to be a mother. Some time after high school, she went to see her father and told her that she wanted to get married. Surprisingly, after hearing Alicia’s wish, Rulon proposed to her. While she was only 20 years old, Rulon was then 86 years old. Moreover, at that time she already had more than 20 wives.
Alice recounted some strange and disturbing practices while she was a part of the church. Like, all the women had to wait outside to say goodbye to Rulon. She shared that she hates kissing him after others. She also talked about how she had sex with Rulon when she didn’t even know how to make babies because they weren’t educated in school.
Alicia further insisted that the women were brainwashed into thinking only of the will of the prophet and had to act accordingly.
After Rulon’s death, she fell in love with LeRoy Jeffs, Rulon’s son and Warren Jeffs’ brother. He already had many wives, but she still married him and was LeRoy’s favorite. But her happiness was short-lived after LeRoy was kicked out of the church.
After that, Alicia married Seth, the younger brother of Warren Jeffs.

Alicia was kicked out and fled the church probably sometime in late 2012, at the earliest, and she claimed she didn’t learn “the facts that FLDS Church leaders and lawyers kept from her” until “later.”
In 2011, she was also moved to a home in Colorado City and was subjected to escape and other emotional abuse “during 2011 and 2012.” She did not leave the community until after she had first endured these circumstances long enough to be “utterly broken”. She then approached Seth about leaving, being accepted into the “United Orders” for two weeks, and Jeffs’ final “revelation” that she was being kicked out.
When Alicia Rohbock’s children were transported to the Yearning for Zion (YFZ) ranch in Texas, she faced even greater grief. She had to stay behind when the kids left with Seth because only a few people were transported to that ranch. Alicia did not call again until a police raid in April 2008 to retrieve the children from Child Protective Services.
He remembers believing his entire life was a sham after learning of Warren’s actions. On the show, Alicia expressed her feelings of betrayal and anger at everything she was led to believe was false. In the end, she decided that she would never go back to church and that she would keep her children away from everything.
