May 9, 2022 premiered on Hulu Sweet is a crime drama miniseries that explores the real life of Candy Montgomery, a suburban housewife accused of murdering her friend Betty Gore. Jessica Biel plays Candy Montgomery, Melanie Lynskey plays Betty Gore, Pablo Schreiber plays Betty’s husband, and there are many other minor characters in this story. Meet Alisa Gore, the eldest daughter of Betty Gore
Alisa Gore is the eldest daughter of Betty Pomeroy Gore, who died June 13, 1980, and Allan Gore. Alisa was at Candy’s house the day her mother died. She and Candy’s daughter, Jenny (Becky in the series), were best friends and planned a sleepover for the second day in a row.
The Montgomery family invited Alice to see the new Star Wars movie at the theater. The day her mother died, she had to attend a swimming lesson. Alice’s mom met Candy through a religious service they did together. They became friends, and in the process, a sexually frustrated Candy became attracted to Allan, who was also worried at the time that his sex life with Betty was going down the drain.
That. Allan cheated on his wife with Candy, and later, after the relationship ended after seven months, Candy was killed with Candy’s 41 axe.
After Betty’s death, Allan quickly remarried (not Candy) and moved away. His marriage to his new wife ended and he left Betty’s parents to raise Alsa and another daughter Betty left behind.
Now, as of 2022, Alice’s father is retired and lives in Florida. He also mentioned on his Facebook that he is in a “domestic community.”
