Anita and Paul Okoye have officially divorced.
An Abuja High Court sitting in Maitama finally ended his marriage after receiving divorce papers filed by his wife Anita last year.
The mother of three children filed for divorce from her ex-husband due to his infidelity and abandonment as a father.
Anita claimed to have paid N10 million to a mall the singer has just completed in Lekki, Lagos, according to a story found by Mandy News on Punch News. She also demanded a settlement of $20,000 (N8.8 million) each month and many of her former property.
Anita, who has been with the artist since day one, decided to settle rather than drop the charges due to her apparent inability to substantiate all the allegations in her lawsuit.
As a result, on October 20, 2022, the court in its judgment awarded the parties joint custody of the children.
