A Swansea candidate will be on ITV’s Love Island when it returns to our screens on Monday. With nine more hopefuls, Anna-May Robey joins the South African village. The show broke records last summer by becoming the most watched series on ITV Hub, with over 269 million views, and is currently in its ninth series on ITV2 and for the first time on ITVX.
On why she joined the show, Anna explained: “I’ve been single for a while, my mum is bugging me, she’s like ‘You’ve got to find a boyfriend’.” I’m excited to try something new and I think going to Love Island is a good way to meet someone.”
Anna described herself as “fun, energetic and spontaneous” and she will bring a lot of fun to the mansion. “I’m going to bring energy to the Villa, I’m going to encourage everyone to play!” she told ITV2.
