Athena concluded, “But really, we were friends and I was one of the last people to talk to him and see him before he died.”
The stunning Venezuelan beauty revealed in the following post how the late star was feeling during their lunch date at the Bel-Air Hotel on Friday. “I want to emphasize that Matthew was in an extremely good mood and enthusiastically talked to me about things that were happening in his life,” she wrote. “He was so happy and lively.”
Athena later urged fans to “refrain from any speculation about his death” for now.
“Know that this man is back and truly deserves more time on this earth,” she wrote. “Our entertainment industry has truly lost a legend. REST IN PEACE.”
Pictures of the “17 Again” star and Crosby talking while sitting at a round table surfaced Tuesday. According to TMZ, Perry was so engrossed in the conversation that he almost didn’t touch his food or drink. The author of “Friends, Lovers, and the Big Terrible Thing” went on a trip barely a day before his secretary discovered him dead in a jacuzzi at his Los Angeles home in the Pacific Palisades neighborhood.
