Alaska: The Last Frontier is a fairly popular series that follows Atz Kilcher Sr. and his family as they navigate life outside of Homer, Alaska. While Atz and his children, especially Grammy Award winner Jewel Kilcher, make headlines, his ex-wife Lenedra Carroll is often less talked about.

Meet Lenedra Carroll, Atz Kilcher’s first wife
Reportedly, Atz Kilcher and his first wife, Lenedra Carrol, were first married in the late ’60s. They gave birth to three children: Shane Kilcher, Atz Lee Kilcher, and Jewel Kilcher. Along with her husband, Lenedra, he released two albums.
However, Lenedra and Atz divorced in 1982, when their daughter Jewel was only 8 years old. After divorcing Atz, Lenedra married Bonnie Dupree.
According to Bonnie’s Instagram, the two are still together and in love. The couple recently traveled together and was in Boston. Sharing a photo of her and her husband’s from Boston, Lenedra wrote: “We enjoy as much local cuisine here in Boston as we can. Great coffee, pizza and chowder and lobster rolls.”
Speaking of Lenedra’s children with Atza, Shane is the director of the Cleanwater Project. He appeared in Alaska: The Last Frontier along with other members of his family from 2011 to 2017 until he broke his back falling from the latter. Additionally, Shane has four children with his wife Kelli Kilcher, whom he married in 1990.
Another of Lenedra’s sons, Atz Lee Kilcher, describes himself as “a homebody, a family man and a lover of the country.” He appears in Alaska: The Last Frontier from the beginning of the series in 2011.
Atz Lee suffered a near-fatal accident in 2015, breaking his arms, shoulders, ankle, hip and ribs and punctured a lung, when he fell off a cliff while hiking in Otter Cave near Homer, Alaska. But luckily, he recovered from the accident just over a year ago. Atz Lee is married to his wife Jane his.
Lenedra and Atz’s daughter, Jewel, needs no introduction. Her debut album, Pieces of You (1995), became one of the best-selling debut albums of all time, going 12 platinum. Some of her other popular albums include Spirit, 0304, Lullaby and The Merry Goes ‘Round to name a few. By 2022, Jewel had sold over 30 million albums worldwide.
