B20 Business Summit 2023: Check the full list of member countries and guest countries

The three-day B20 summit in New Delhi, India, began on August 25 and ended on August 27.

Detailed discussions at the B20 summit were held around the topic of RAISE, which stands for Responsible, Accelerated, Innovative, Sustainable, Equitable Businesses.

At the B20 summit, India showcased its growth stories to CEOs from around the world who were present at the three-day event in Delhi.

Earlier, while briefing the media about the summit, Rajesh Kumar Singh, Secretary, Department of Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), said the event will provide India with an opportunity to showcase the country’s growth stories to the world.

It was at the welcome session that Prime Minister Narendra Modi joined the B20 summit session today, August 27.

What is B20?

Business 20 or B20 is actually the official G20 business forum for the global business community.

It was in 2010 when B20 was founded. It is among the most important groups for engagement in the G20. There are economic organizations and companies as participants.

Each year, the G20 Presidency appoints the B20 Chair. The chairman of the B20 is actually often an important business leader elected from the host country of the G20. The Chair is supported by the B20 Secretariat and B20 Sherpa.

The chairman of B20 India is N Chandrasekaran, chairman of Tata Sons.
