On September 13, 2022. The Great British Baking is back with season 13 on Channel 4. Once again, viewers are introduced to a series of aspiring bakers who will fight in the famous pennant shed. Speaking of this season, Maxy Maligisa, like every other contestant, was hoping to take home the coveted Bake Off cake stand.
About appearing on the show, Maxy said she had always been a fan of Bake Off, but she never expected to be in the tent baking. Because? Because she didn’t feel like a good enough baker. However, her friends and family always disagreed and encouraged her to apply, but she never knew if they were really serious or not.

Maxy and his eleven other rivals were joined by judges Prue Leith and Paul Hollywood and presenters Matt Lucas and Noel Fielding.
Following the first episode of the season, The Guardian’s Scott Bryan commented: “Maxy’s roast is a bit rough (aren’t they all?), but luckily the flavors are there. I think she survived the following week.” After examining the baking of all the other contestants, he finally concluded that there are wonderful bakers this year. For him, he said, Maxy, Syabira, Sandro, Abdul and Carole stood out as special favorites.
