Bryant was one of the passengers in the helicopter that crashed at around 19:00 (Dutch time). According to the US Civil Aviation Administration FAA, all died in the helicopter.
The mayor of Los Angeles, Eric Garcetti, confirmed that in addition to Bryant, his thirteen-year-old daughter, Gianna, sat in the plane and died. As for the identity of the passenger in the second vehicle, there is no official announcement yet.
In the first instance, the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Office reported five deaths.
