While the exact nature of these “indecent” lyrics isn’t explained, it does sound like they’ll enhance the film and provide more substance to Gaston and LeFou’s characters.evans pointed out “for [audience members] I think most people are very familiar with the songs and you get to hear some new lines, which is really special. ”
Beyond that, in another rather exciting addition, Condon hints at another Ashman lyric that would fit elsewhere in the movie: “It was a surprise at the end. I don’t want to reveal that, but we found out that it’s a really gorgeous lyric.” Glad Ashman’s previously unused lyrics could be used, and it sounds like his words will only enhance what’s already set to be an amazing movie.
