The 2023 BET Awards will be held on June 25, 2023 at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California. The BET Awards, or Black Entertainment Television Awards, are annual awards that recognize the achievements of black performers and other minorities in music, film, sports and charity activities. Black Entertainment Television (BET), an African-American cable television network owned by Tyler Perry’s network, presented the award.
Six awards were presented at the 23rd Television Awards, with Lotto receiving the award for Best Female Hip-Hop Artist and Coco Jones personally receiving the award for Best New Artist.
