When the competitors embark on their first individual competition, the construction of a concrete retaining wall, they do so in an effort to establish their superior strength. This season’s singles competition has more stakes as contestants compete for additional bonus cash on top of the $200,000 grand prize and avoid a weekly elimination challenge.
On the opening day, the overtime challenge pitted Ellery and Synethia Bland as the bottom two. They had to rig a metal helmet hook while I was up. They had to heat a metal bar in a forge to achieve this. Finally, shape it into a hook by tapping it until it looks like a hook jig.
Since Synethia had little prior experience with this type of work, Ellery ended up defeating her very quickly. Synethia Bland was the first contestant eliminated from the solo competition this season, but she will continue to compete in tag team competitions for a chance to earn some extra cash.
On the January 11, 2023 episode, Renee Kolar was eliminated. Renee and Mister had to transplant 24 plants and load them onto a trailer to win the overtime challenge. They had to identify four different plant species and collect six of each during this task. Renee fell behind at one point because she chose the wrong plants, but she soon caught up and finally got the better of Mister.
When all was said and done, Mister Frost was able to narrowly defeat Renee and win. Renee lost in the individual competitions in this episode, but she will still be around for the team tasks and expressed her enthusiasm about it.
The third contestant to be eliminated on January 18, 2023 was Aly Bala.
