On October 11, a tragic incident took place in Bihar’s Buxar region when the Northeast Superfast train derailed. At least 12 coaches, of which two to three AC coaches overturned on the track. 100 were injured and six died in the accident.

According to a railway official who spoke to ANI, the accident took place at Raghunathpur station near Buxar, around 9:35 pm. The train was on its way to Kamakhya, near Guwahati in Assam.
Many people reached out to Xu to express their grief over the incident. A few also wished for the speedy recovery of the injured passengers.

The landslide left the area in a chaotic state as several poles, electricity poles and signal poles were damaged. Several passenger and freight trains were diverted due to the accident, which affected running on the track. Senior railway officials have reached the accident site and are investigating the reasons for the derailment.
An inquiry committee is being formed to look into it, according to the CPRO, who also added that top authorities, including the Danapur DRM, have been rushed to the spot.
