Call of Duty: Warzone Season 4 Reloaded update nerfs meta weapons and pesky perk

Today’s Call of Duty: Warzone The Season 4 Reloaded update will include a ton of changes, and Activision has released a detailed list of patch notes ahead of time. Season 4 Reloaded will offer plenty of new features like the fresh Titanium Trials and Rebirth of the Dead modes, along with a lot of balancing changes. Most notably, the update will include improvements to several weapons, along with nerfs to annoying perks and the Field Upgrade, resulting in more balanced gameplay.

For a while now, the NZ-41 has been an absolute target assault rifle, but Season 4 Reloaded aims to make it a little less effective by increasing recoil and reducing damage and damage multipliers. This will bring other premium assault rifles back into the meta, such as the Nikita AVT, M13, Volkssturmgewehr, and Krig 6 — all of which will be slightly improved along with Season 4 Reloaded.

Additionally, the Serpentine perk will receive a nerf shortly after the Reloaded Season 4 update goes live (at an unspecified date). Currently, the Serpentine perk gives players 20% fire, explosive, and bullet damage reduction while running. Nerf will drop it to 15%.

The Radar Jammer Field Upgrade will also appear less frequently on the Fortune’s Keep map. Since Fortune’s Keep is much smaller than Caldera, the Radar Jammer’s radius is absolutely devastating, disabling the mini-map for a huge portion of the lobby. The radius of the Field Upgrade has recently been reduced, and with the upcoming drop rate being reduced, hopefully things will be more balanced.

Season 4 of Reloaded starts live War zone July 27th at 12pm ET.
