Camille Grammer Advises Fan Conflicted About Viewing Her Ex-Husband Kelsey Grammer's'Frasier' Revival

Ready to binge watch? Camille Grammer has expressed her support for ex-husband Kelsey Grammer for reviving Frasier after her fans considered ditching the show out of loyalty to her.

“I’m a hypocrite,” a fan tweeted on Wednesday, February 24. “Frasier was my favorite show growing up (yes, browse there all you want). ‘The Innkeeper’ is among the funniest half-hours on TV. This information excites me so much for so many reasons. But I’m also #TeamCamille. WHAT DO I?! #RHOBH.”

“Watch and enjoy,” she replied on Thursday, February 25. “I really don’t begrudge Kelsey’s continued success. It was my favorite show, too.”

Paramount+ has officially ordered a Frasier revival after much speculation, announcing the news on Wednesday. “Having spent more than 20 decades of my creative life at Paramount, the two of them creating series and starring in several, I’d like to congratulate Paramount+ on its entry into the world of streaming,” he said after Wednesday’s announcement. “I look forward with all my heart to sharing another chapter in the continuing journey of Dr. Frasier Crane.”

Kelsey and Camille were married from 1997 to 2011 and have a daughter, Mason, 19, and a son, Jude, 16. Their relationship has been controversial since they announced their separation in 2010.

“Honestly, I don’t talk about her much, because so much of her life has been spent discussing me personally and I just think that’s kind of lame,” the actor said during a November 2019 In Depth With Graham Bensinger viewing. “A month after I had a heart attack, my mother died – 12 decades ago today – on the afternoon of my mother’s funeral, my husband basically exploded over something.”

Kelsey said Camille filed for divorce the day after the funeral. “And she started telling me, ‘I’m leaving, I’m leaving here. I’d like a divorce, blah, blah, blah,’ if we’d had the exact same conversation for eight decades, and it was boring,” he explained. “At that moment, I realized that I was done with her, that I probably wouldn’t stay in this relationship for much longer. And somewhere under a year [later]I was done.” “This is not true,” she tweeted at the time. “My parents were with us in the Hamptons when we received the information about his mothers [sic] overtaking. We consoled him and flew back to LA to arrange the funeral. It’s a shame that history is being rewritten.”

Kelsey married Kayte Walsh in February 2011, while Camille married David Meyer in October 2018.
