The black and white images are actually a cafe in St Petersberg, Russia, where visitors can feel like they are on the pages of a coloring book.
Pictures of the room show an impressive interior, which appears to have been transformed by beautiful “paintings” of a stage, complete with drum kit, guitar, accordion, and microphone, and another room with a makeup mirror, tables, and chairs.
BW Kafe director Minaeva Kristina explained that it can almost feel like visitors have been transported to another cartoon reality, and it really does look amazing.

She said, “BW Kafe is a quirky-looking cafe with spaces in Moscow and St. Petersburg that look like the set of A-ha’s famous ‘Take on Me’ video.”
He added: “The cafe is 2D in style and visitors find themselves in another reality, like a cartoon character.”
The style proved popular around the world, with another café owner, Solbon Namsaraev, inspiring his own business.

He said: “Once I saw a photo of a similar interior of a cafe, I was inspired, found artists, locals and opened my own black and white cafe in Russia.”
He added: “Coming to the cafe for the first time means having a lot of positive emotions and unusual photos.
“Guests write that they are delighted with the interior and photos in the cafe.”
