Carter Redwood was born to his parents, Carl and Tawnya Redwood. They are his inspiration and someone who has always supported his passion for acting.
Also, thanks to their support and encouragement, he was able to win a four-year scholarship to Carnegie Mellon University’s School of Dramatic Arts in 2010. Even there, he received the university’s award for best senior actor at the age of 21. and graduated with honors.

She was the youngest of seven sisters raised in a family of eight in Homestead, Pennsylvania. There, she attended school in that community and graduated from Homestead High School with honors and even received a scholarship to the University of Pittsburgh.
Trivia: Carl also has a sister named Janet L Thompson.

Meet Tawnya Redwood, mother of Carter Redwood
Tawnya Redwood is the doting mother of Carter Redwood. She said that she was “the most understanding, loving and kind person” he had ever met. “She supports me in everything I do and she’s always real even when I don’t want to hear it lol. Without her, she would not be the man I am today. There are not enough words to express how grateful I am to have her as a mother,” she added.
Likewise, Tawnya is very proud of him and everything he has become. She revealed that she was also not surprised by her interest in the play. “Already at 7 or 8 years old, [he] It was already warm, colorful, full of personality and artistic in nature,” he explained.
