Justice Minister Nicole Belloubet asked the Paris attorney general on Friday for a “detailed report on the precise nature” of the investigation by the National Prosecutor’s Office (PNF), which according to The Point was aimed at identifying the mole in the so-called “wiretapping” case.

The report will focus “in particular on the conditions of the requests made, their scope and their duration,” the Justice Minister said in a press release. Nicole Belloubet says she is “aware of the concern of the judicial community” over these investigations, which have led to a detailed examination of the telephone accounts (“fadettes”) of many legal tenors.
