But they rarely saw his brothers and sisters. In fact, Chelsea has three older biological siblings and two half-siblings from her father’s second marriage.
Randy and Chelsea’s mother, Mary Kneip, had four daughters from their marriage. Her three older siblings are named Melissa, Angie and Angie. In Vermillion, South Dakota, Randy Houska, a dentist, is the owner of the Houska Dental Clinic.
In 1989, shortly after graduating from the University of Nebraska Medical Center School of Dentistry, he founded his company with a small, close-knit group of individuals dedicated to dental excellence. Additionally, Randy worked at New Horizon Dental Center in Tempe, Arizona in 2023.
His mother, Mary Kneip, was born on December 7, 1962. So, in 2022, he lived to be 60 years old. At the time of this writing, Mary Kneip was probably still working as a dental assistant in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Mary herself attended Southeast Tech’s Stewarts School of Hairdressing after attending Vermillion High School her junior year.
Years later, after Randy and Mary’s marriage broke up. Randy met his second wife, Rita Merchant, in 2006. They were finally married on August 3, 2009 at Chapel in the Hills in Rapid City, South Dakota during the 2009 convention.

Meet Melissa Houska, Chelsea Houska’s older sister
Chelsea Houska’s older sister is named Melissa Houska. She was born in March 1980, she is currently 42 years old. Her husband, Eric Schnell, is in the military. Melissa and Eric got married on October 17, 2009. They have a daughter, Isabelle (@bellesdelusion), who turned 19 on February 19, 2022. They also lived in Germany for a short time.
In November 2022, Melissa posted on her Instagram account: “Sometimes you sneak lunch while one of you is on the road at Golden Corral.”
Melissa has been working as an Autism Paraprofessional at Dinwiddie Elementary School since August 2021. She studied for a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene at the University of South Dakota. She also studied communication sciences and minor disorders.

Angie Houska is the second or middle sister of Chelsea Houska. Angela, who is 40 years old and was born in 1982, celebrates her birthday in September.
Currently living in Marianna, Florida, she studied Human Relations at Doane University. Angie herself also studied Mental Health Counseling at Barry University. She is a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) with Covenant Care since July 2020.
Angie is the mother of a son named Noah and a daughter who gave birth to a boy named Elijah in August 2017, making Angie a grandmother.
