Fox continued to air Season 2 of Next Level Chef, which debuted on February 12, 2023. The show is a one-of-a-kind, epic cooking competition with an exclusive venue for contestants. The Next Level Set Chef is located in a structure with more than three floors and a significantly different kitchen on each floor than the last.
The chefs, led by celebrity chefs Gordon Ramsay, Nyesha Arrington and Richard Blais, must work to create culinary magic regardless of the conditions in the kitchen, from the harsh back of the basement to the luxurious upstairs. Top home cooks, social media chefs and professional chefs joined the cast and were divided into three separate teams after Ramsay and his commentators hand-picked them after touring the nation.
The stakes are high for the competing chefs with a year of mentoring and $250,000 up for grabs.
Christopher Spinosa is one of the 18 contestants of this season. But, after two episodes, he is still safe. The contestant who was sent home in the second episode of the second season was Alex Morizio from Brooklyn, New York. Christopher Spinoza’s career
Christopher Spinosa began his career as a chef in Manhattan, New York. According to his LinkedIn, he started out as a line cook at Jean Georges’ Spice Market. He worked there from May 2016 to September 2016. In early 2017, he got a job in the same position at Bobo’s. He worked there until May 2017.
After that, The John Dory Oyster Bar (a fledgling Israeli/Middle Eastern influenced restaurant located in Bedford-Stuyvesant, New York) hired him as a line cook. He worked at the Ace Hotel’s fish restaurant. In October 2017, he started working at Golda Kitchen as a sous chef. There he oversaw menu creation, BOH staffing, and social media content creation.
Then, in October 2018, Chris joined Bagatelle NYC as a sous chef. It was a high-end French bistro located in the Meat Packing District of New York. Supervised mid-volume kitchen staff, established new vendor relationships, and negotiated pricing. In addition, he also helped advance the latest acquisition of the Gansevoort Hotel’s kitchen operations.
In 2020 Chris worked at Buddakan NYC. From March 2021 to 2023, he continued his culinary career at The Cooper Craft Bar & Kitchen. Since January 2022, he has been working at CRS CULINARY SOLUTIONS LLC.

Christopher, a music student at the University of Connecticut, worked in the cafeteria between semesters. Spinosa enrolled in the Manhattan Institute for Culinary Education after receiving accolades for his work and earning a culinary business certificate in 2016.

Christopher Spinosa comes from a family of entrepreneurs. His paternal grandparents are the founders of East/West Industries, where some of his family still work. His grandparents, Mary and Dominic Spinosa, founded the company in 1968.
They established the guiding principle of East/West as “Saving the life of the crew is our first concern.” With various engineers and family members, they began submitting proposals for simpler and more reliable designs for ejection seats and life support components to aircraft and ejection seat manufacturers. With this, East/West began manufacturing life support products and ejection seat parts.
Her aunt, Teresa Ferraro, joined the company in 1983 and is currently the president of the company. In 2018, she received the Leroy R. Grumman Award at the Cradle of Aviation Air & Space Gala last week in Garden City, NY. The award recognizes innovative leaders in aviation.
“I am deeply honored and moved by this recognition,” Teresa said at the time. “For 50 years, from its beginnings at my parents’ dining room table, where my father began designing and developing small oxygen components, East/West Industries has been dedicated to saving crew lives. We have grown into a team of more than 80 talented design engineers, management, and support personnel that we are proud to call family, and we look forward to continuing to support the aerospace and defense industries in innovative ways.”
Over the past 39 years, he has established successful business relationships with major aerospace and defense contractors, including Northrop Grumman, The Boeing Company, Sikorsky Aircraft, and Lockheed Martin. Most recently led the largest business expansion in East/West history, including moving to a new facility, expanding the company’s footprint by approximately 50%, and creating a plan to increase the workforce by 40 % in three years.
In addition to Teresa, Marija and Dominik had two more children; Joe Spinosa and Tony Spinosa. She passed away on April 20, 2021 at the age of 89. She survived three battles with cancer and succumbed to the fourth battle.
