Clobber Innocence with this FFXIV: Shadowbringers Crown of the Immaculate guide

It’s been a long time. The final showdown against Lord Vauthry. Or, as he called himself, Innocence. As with Titan, this is a multi-stage fight. After all, no big battle is complete without a fancy transformation sequence. If you’re hoping to continue a new story, this FFXIV: Shadowbringers The Crown of Immaculate Normal Mode guide will teach you the strategy and tactics needed to survive the fight against the last Sin Eater.

The first phase

Innocence will introduce Realmrazer, her Raid AoE, before summoning a bunch of accessories to her side. Each of them can cast Cold’s Bridle to further reduce HP’s HP. Healers should prepare for anything that might sneak through if the DPS is a bit slow. Daybreak then targets every DPS with a large circular AoE. They should naturally cluster together after installing the add package and shouldn’t cause much trouble.

After a rage attack, four drop points will appear around the arena. Have someone stand in each of them as they fall and be sure to turn away from the innocence to avoid Enthrall’s puzzling gaze. If one is caught, it heals through whoever it ends up attacking.

Then it’s time for another package to add Heavenly Host. Forgiven Venus joins in here with Holy Sword, a smaller tank destroyer. They also gain Vauthry’s blessing, presumably improving their attack power. Just burn them as usual and watch out for bursts of incoming damage and AoE points. After another Realmrazer and at about 20% HP, Innocence will then start to periodically destroy the party as it transitions to its second phase at about 10%.

Second phase

In the version of Innocence we were introduced to in the previews, Vauthry embraced the Sin Eater within him and transformed into the god he sees within himself.

After a few auto attacks, Innocence casts her tank destroyer, Righteous Bolt. Winged Reprobation will target every DPS, sending blades across the arena twice, while the second skill cast will require players to spin around the arena to avoid a curved shower of spears.

Teleporting to the center of the arena, Rightful Prorobation is next. It is a rapid linear strike across each major and sub-cardinal direction that lingers after firing and returns after the next Righteous Arrow. Shadowreaver follows for raid-wide damage.

For the end of the third stage, DPS races in order. Innocence returns to the outer edge and invokes Sinless Authority in the center with four additions Forgiven Shame around the edge. Instead of splitting off to kill them as Authority’s gauge increases, you want to focus on what’s connected to it. If you don’t kill the tethered mob in time, expect a lot of burst damage that can quickly wipe out a team. With that drawback, focus on Sinless Power and finish her off before she has a chance to max out her meter. Healers will have to brace themselves for another big hit for phase three transitions.

Now completely insane, Innocence will rattle off big AoEs like nobody’s business. Stay on your feet and get in line for the Light Pillar.

Now both versions of Winged Reprobation will be released, you will be required to run around the arena while dodging flying spears. Tanks and healers will have another Righteous Bolt to deal with here, so players will need to keep some distance from the rotating tank. Move to the far east/west to limit Beatific Vision’s hit and heal.

You have more or less seen everything from there. Just keep moving and apply each skill combo as it comes. Shoot for victory and be ready for the story to reach its climax.
