A couple in Uttar Pradesh was caught on camera using a PDA while riding a bicycle and the video went viral on social media. The video shows a woman tightly hugging a man while riding a bicycle, and neither of them is wearing a helmet, thus endangering their lives. The Hapur police booked the couple under the Motor Vehicles Act in response to the video.

“#Hapur. Video of the romance of a new couple on a bicycle. The woman was sitting on the tank of the bike and hugging her husband,” reads the description of the video shared on X.
The video shows a woman sitting on a bicycle tank, facing her partner and hugging him tightly. The incident took place on National Highway 9, which is under the jurisdiction of Simbhaoli police station.

The Hapur police took notice of the video and imposed a fine of ₹8,000 on the couple. While tweeting a picture of the Challan, the Hapur police wrote, “Photos of a couple doing bike stunts on the national highway under Simbhaoli police station area went viral on social media, on immediate notice #Hapurpolice issued a Challan of ₹8000/- for the said bicycle according to the MV Act. @Uppolice is taking legal action.”
