Dave von Raven was pleased that his ailing father went to the Thrill concert I was able to get. The man was on a stretcher on stage and told the singer from the band about the homemade apple pie.
The 38-year-old Dutch artist mentioned in the show that he is grateful that his father provided him with continuous help as a young child to make his music career a success.
“I saw him in those days, often despised, you know. I thought to myself, ‘Teringlijder, keep what you can understand.’ However, later on I really had a lot of respect for him and that’s what got me to where I am now.”

The singer’s father underwent aortic surgery in recent years. During the operation, it was determined that they were men with lung cancer.
“It’s been two months and the first time, and I’m standing up. We were so proud. I said to him, “Daddy, you’re bloody here, aren’t you?” Suddenly, those big brown eyes on him, and he said, “If you think to believe, I don’t think so either.'”
With the help of the Ambulance and Wish foundation, he was a father at the end of November, in case his son was present. “They took him there on a stretcher and then he was standing on the sidelines looking at us. That was very, very special, which is why I’m very, very happy with that.”
