David Osagie Death: Nollywood Actor Died In Sleep After Movie Shoot

Sir David Osagie, a Hollywood actor, died in his sleep after taking part in a movie shoot on Tuesday and has returned to rest, a Nigerian actress said.

The sudden, unexpected and peaceful death of the 52-year-old actor proves that there is nothing to fight for in this world, Ngozi Ezeh said in a post on Instagram.

When Osagie’s death was revealed Wednesday afternoon, no cause was given by his family or friends.

“Good morning family. I hate to say this but we have lost another king of Nollywood, Sir David. He wasn’t sick, he just happened. How do we explain this, another loss in Nollywood? Oh Lord, have mercy. Rest in peace, Mr. Dave. I moan again. Oh I’m sorry. Oh, this life will. Everything is only once. Nothing worth fighting or killing for.” the actor’s colleague Ngozi Ezeh wrote on Instagram.

Sir David Osagie is a popular and legendary Nollywood actor, screenwriter, producer and professional talent developer. His full name is Osagie Ogbeosamudia. He is known to play the role of a king or an older king in most of the movies. In acting and portraying film roles, he is extremely gifted, skillful, creative, and talented. He is very good at playing his roles and can fit into any character that Nigerian film directors and producers offer him.
