Fans of the Nigerian King of Pop raised more than N30 million in less than 20 minutes to help the singer get his Rolls Royce car out of the port.
In the days leading up to his birthday, the Nigerian star is testing his fans’ love for him.
He tweeted: ‘If you know I gave you a hit song.. send me money…. I don’t know one’
He then revealed that he would use the money to help free his Royce from a Nigerian port.
‘I know how to say that he doesn’t love me, but he doesn’t love me like that’ Davido said in his next tweet.
The result was extraordinary. A huge number of 9.7 million 30BG fans responded to the call and the singer tweeted that he raised N30 million in less than 20 minutes.
