The host of the “Big Little Feelings” podcast, Deena, spoke candidly about her failed marriage and described in detail numerous instances in which her husband, Michael, irritated her. Deena co-founded Big Little Things in 2020 with her best friend, Kristin Gallant. ” Genesis was a real need. At the time, I was a stay-at-home mom. My husband worked 12, 14 hours a day, we lived paycheck to paycheck, and I struggled with postpartum anxiety. I had a three-year-old and a one-year-old, and with postpartum anxiety you’re spinning around everything. I would text Deena. She’s a famous child therapist, so I’d ask her things, and sometimes she’d ask me something in return—something random that mom would know. We saw these gaps and how we could bridge them,” said Kristin.
At the end of 2019, Deena and Kristin started kicking around the idea of creating a dream site and course that would be authentic, vulnerable and non-judgmental.
Deena added: “We left – Kristin left the kids – and we were in this house for three straight days, thinking. And then in March 2020, we published our first post. We had no followers. Kristin was waking up at five to work on it before the kids woke up, and I was working on it after running my clinic in Los Angeles all day.”

She experienced a truly terrible event, and when her husband called to ask if he could pick her up in front of the house, he said he had to end the conference call.
Deena always knew she wanted two children, regardless of how she felt about her marriage to Michael after having their first child, and still went ahead and had a second child with Michael, declaring: “Not even a breakup will stop me . “
Deena seems to want a divorce, but Deena’s husband wants to continue working to save their marriage and has now started going to therapy. She claimed that she has no idea how their relationship will develop in the future.
