The second season of American Barbecue Showdown is finally here! Following “the best backyard smokers and competitive grillers in the country as they compete for the title of America’s BBQ Champion,” the series graced Netflix again on May 26, 2023.
Like the first season, the second installment will follow the contestants as they face a challenge that tests their grilling skills in ways “they could never have imagined. From unique meats to old school techniques, one day they’ll have to prove they’ve got smoking skills.”
Delilah Winder is one of the contestants in the Barbecue Showdown. She is a popular local chef who has been in the food industry for over 2 decades. You may also have seen her at Throwdown with Bobby Flay (2008), The Best Thing I Ever Ate (2009) and the 18th Annual Trumpet Awards (2010).

This talented chef began her career in 2000 by opening Bluezette, a Latin, Caribbean and soul food restaurant in Philadelphia’s Old City neighborhood. After graduating in 1970, she moved to Philadelphia, married and became an award-winning business analyst at Colonial Penn Life Insurance.
Now, in addition to running her own restaurant, Delilah works as a chef consultant for the American Heart Association and director of The Enterprise Center – Center for Culinary Entrepreneurship.
