The order announced that Martín and his nephew, who filed the lawsuit, had been dating for seven months, according to El Vocer, a Puerto Rican newspaper.
According to the report, the alleged victim affirmed that Martín did not take his break up well and that he wandered near the petitioner’s house on at least three occasions.
Ricky’s lawyer, Marty Singer, said: “Unfortunately, the person who made this claim is struggling with profound mental issues. Ricky Martin, of course, has never been, and never will be, involved in any sexual or romantic relationship with his nephew.”
Singer added: “The idea is not just false, it’s disgusting. We all hope this man gets the help he urgently needs. But above all, we hope that this terrible case will be dismissed as soon as the judge begins to examine the facts.”
