It’s easy to get the Null Composure Fusion Rifle, but it will take some time. You must complete the A Sacred Fusion quest to unlock it, which requires completing a bunch of playlist activities. However, before you can get there, you need a quest.

Go to the tower and talk to Banshee-44 to pick it up. If you’ve talked to him since the beginning of Season of the Splicer, you should already have the quest in your inventory. Like the previous ritual quests, this one requires going through playlist activities while slowly filling up two progress bars. Here’s what you need to do:

  • Earn points by defeating enemies in playlist activities
  • Complete the playlist activities

The second request does not specify any activity, which is good. All you need to do is focus on the playlist activity where you can get the most kills, as this will raise the progress bar for both requests. Gambit is a good option if you have a decent build and can rack up kills quickly in the Crucible if you’re good enough. Realistically, you’ll need to jump between different activities to avoid burning out (our Gambit guide and Crucible guide can help you with that).

Except just more gameplay destiny 2, there are a few things you can do to speed up the grind. First, equip a fusion rifle (preferably with solar damage) and another weapon with solar damage. You’ll earn extra progress for fusion rifle kills, disintegration, or solar damage through playlist activities.

Also, make sure you equip your Stasis subclass. This will get you even more progress (be sure to read our guide on how to unlock the new Stasis Aspects from Season of the Splicer).

Unlocking Null Composure gives you an awesome new fusion rifle that will automatically complete the season challenge from Season of the Splicer. After completing the activities, return to the tower and talk to Banshee-44 to claim your new weapon.

Null Composure perks and mods

Null Composure is a fusion rifle introduced in Season of the Splicer that deals Void damage and uses special ammo. It comes with the Exotic Intrinsic perk Rapid-Fire Frame, which increases your ammo reserves and allows for faster reloads when the magazine is empty. Otherwise, it has two fixed benefits and two benefit options:

  • Fluted Barrel: Adds +5 stability and +15 handling.
  • Projection Fuse: Adds +10 range.
  • Feeding Frenzy or Heating Up: Feeding Frenzy gives you a charge speed boost for quick kills, which stacks up as you earn quick kills. Warming up increases accuracy and stability while improving recoil when you hit the final shot.
  • Reservoir Burst or High-Impact Reserves: Reservoir Burst adds +30 tank size and gives you a powerful burst that causes enemies to explode when defeated when the battery is full. High-Impact Reserves make the bullets at the end of your magazine more powerful.

Of course, customizing your weapon is part of the experience Fate 2. However, we recommend heating and spraying the tank. Warming up will provide a solid stat boost as long as you can keep up with the final shots. Reservoir Burst, on the other hand, not only increases the size of the tank, but also offers a damage boost — along with the ability to knock out other enemies — for the first few rounds.
