If you want to complete Destiny 2: Shadowkeep Essence of Brutality questline, you might get stuck looking for something called the Necromantic Strand. As with Shadowkeep’s other essence questlines, you’ll need to find an item in an unmarked location to complete it. Doing so will give you Loud Lullaby, a powerful legendary hand cannon with an incredibly powerful impact.

In addition to finding items, you’ll also need to complete activities on the moon and get 50 kills with the hand cannon. So before you go looking for the Strand, make sure you equip the hand cannon to kill two slaves with one hit.
Necromantic Strand location
To find the Necromantic Strand, you will first need to find the Hall of Wisdom. Start by loading into the Sanctuary location on the moon. From there, head west and follow the path all the way to Archer’s Line.

When you get there, you’ll want to look for the dome-like building up on the hill. You will find this on the right when you enter the area. Enter the dome building and exit on the other side. You should see a hill leading down towards the hive structure.
Enter the structure and follow it to the end. You will eventually find yourself in the Hall of Wisdom. Go right when you enter and head towards the circular structures in the center of the room.
At this point, a waypoint marker indicating the location of the Strands should appear on the screen. Follow him and you’ll find Strand sitting on the ground. Pick it up to check this off your to-do list.
Once you’ve completed all three steps, all you have to do is return to the booth near the Sanctuary Moon Landing Zone and interact with it. Voila! Loud Lullaby will be added to your collection! If you manage to accidentally take Loud Lullaby apart, don’t worry! After completing the task, you will be able to return to the booth and get the task again. So you’ll be able to farm Loud Lullaby as many times as you want if you’re looking for the perfect roll.
