Drew Sidora News

The final season of Real Housewives of Atlanta revealed growing tension between Drew Sidora and Ralph Pittman before the couple officially divorced.

On Sunday’s episode, Ralph showed up late to a daylong mental health retreat attended by Drew and the other women. However, Drew, as well as those there, immediately noticed how Ralph seemed to be deliberately ignoring his wife after she first hugged husband Sanya Richards-Ross.

Drew, 38, looked towards Ralph, 40, and replied: “Oh yeah, my husband’s here,” but looked away to greet everyone else. Ralph even ignored Drew when she yelled, “Hey, hubby.”

Drew continued by remarking that since she hadn’t “seen” him all day, she was “waiting for a hug” from Ralph. If Ralph doesn’t see his wife there, is he having some kind of mental breakdown? According to Shereé Whitfield and Kenya Moore in the confessional, “Ralph literally went around the room hugging everyone but her.”

“Ralph was withdrawn from the evening meeting. But it’s terrible when he’s late and confesses to everyone except me, she admitted in the confessional.

“This is typical Ralph,” she said. “When he feels disrespected, he’s so cold instead of speaking his mind and expressing how he feels.”

Ralph finally noticed Drew as he walked up to him and hugged and kissed him. Later in the show, Drew met with her marriage counselor Dr. Ken for in-home therapy. Before that, she talked about how “things went downhill” for the couple since their night in the confessional.

We don’t really talk. He left the room. Our marriage is stuck in an endless loop, she added. It oscillates between up and down. We try to go out and enjoy ourselves, but then things go wrong.

Ralph and I have been married for eight years, the actress continued. In retrospect, we dealt with issues of openness, fidelity and respect. It’s all evolving. Drew claimed that after her and Ralph’s date night, things “escalated into a disagreement” in a conversation with her therapist, who she had been seeing for 13 or 14 months. “I think now I can stand firmer for what I know is best for me. I am ready to set boundaries,” she said.

dr. Ken said that Drew had expressed her limits that “nobody can light her up” anymore by mirroring what she said. After that he asked, “What does that really leave your marriage with?”

“It’s a bit doubtful. Cut off,” she cried. “There still seems to be a lack of emotional awareness, and that’s all I’ve ever wanted. Like, I just want you to be concerned about my heart, my feelings, and the things that matter to me.

She didn’t marry to get divorced, so Drew said, “I’m always willing to try. But the question is when will things start to improve? How far will someone go to defend their marriage? For example, he doesn’t go to the counseling center, but I do.

Despite Drew’s “hope” that things would “turn around,” she resignedly stated, “Without him showing up and making an effort, it’s impossible. I’m worried about how our relationship is going.
