The video was shared by Nirbhay Garg. It shows him, together with another singer on the terrace. They both came up with and sang a song highlighting how a ‘dark blanket’ has taken over Delhi and people are facing ‘asthma and bronchitis’ because of it. They also urged people not to visit Delhi during that time.

In the caption of the post, Garg wrote: “Dense smog and polluted air, prevalent even before Diwali and the celebration of firecrackers, highlight the significant contribution of emissions from vehicles, industry, road dust, concrete mixing and straw burning. The cherished essence of Diwali seems to have been permanently tarnished. The escalating political discourse on pollution worsens every year, with a pervasive sense of apathy prevailing, leaving us feeling helpless in the face of this dire menace.” (Also Read: Delhi’s air quality turns ‘severe’ again 2 days after Diwali)
