Meet Dylan Brown, Sarah Herron’s boyfriend-turned-fiancé
Dylan Brown first met Sarah Herron in March 2017. After two weeks of dating, Sarah joked with Dylan on April 1, saying, “I didn’t see us going anywhere. But poor Dylan took those words to heart because “blood was running down his face.” So Sarah realized in that moment that he didn’t want to lose her. “And for that reason, April 1 is kind of the anniversary date that we chose,” she added.
Later, for one of their dates, Dylan took the Bachelor star to Maroon Bells after an early snowfall, “promising it would be the most magical way to see the fall colors.”
Now, five years later (December 2022 to be exact), Dylan and Sarah once again splashed around the early snow and recreated that magical day when they first met. This time, he brought her fans with him through her social media posts.
Also, Sarah was then 5 months pregnant with her IVF baby, Oliver.
Unfortunately, just after their little boy came into this world at the age of just a few weeks, he passed away in his father’s arms shortly after. “There are no words for the magnitude of the loss and the pain we are experiencing. It is beautiful and tragic at the same time. I had my dad’s nose and mouth and long fingers, ”wrote the Bachelor’s student on her IG.
But even though they only spent a short time together, Sarah said the baby taught them a lot. “She taught us a lot about the integrity of life, love and death. Oliver filled our home and hearts with so much love and most importantly optimism,” she explained.
Dylan and Sarah first announced their pregnancy in September 2021. At the time, she also opened up about how “incredibly grateful” she is to have a partner who has been “so supportive and kind throughout this whole process.”
Now getting back to his love life, Dylan popped the question to the undergraduate student in May 2021 in front of Mount Sopris, after 4 years together. And their engagement photo shoot was epic!
As for their wedding plans, the lovebirds have made the date, thanks to their busy lives and the hassle of IVF.
