- In the Inbound Server field enter ‘inbound.att.net’ and in the Outbound Server field enter ‘outbound.att.net’. In the ‘Login details’ section, re-enter your email address in the ‘Username’ text field, then enter your login password in the ‘Password’ field. Once done, click “More Settings”.
- Then select the ‘Outgoing server’ field and tick the ‘My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication’ checkbox.
- Now select the ‘Advanced’ tab and select ‘This server requires an encrypted connection (SSL)’; enter ‘995’ in the ‘Incoming Mail Server (POP3)’ field.
- In the ‘Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP)’ field, enter ‘465’. From the ‘Use the following encrypted connection type’ drop-down, select ‘SSL’.
- Click ‘Ok’ and then ‘Next’ to start configuring the mailbox. Click ‘Finish’ and then ‘Close’ to exit the wizard.
