Is it cake? the show, modeled after the viral internet trend most commonly seen on TikTok, debuted in March 2022, and its concept is distinctive for what it is. You may have seen posts and discussions online asking for help in determining whether a seemingly ordinary household item is actually real or fake. Literally anything could have been a cake, which became a joke.
On Friday, June 30, 2023, the outrageous cooking program returns for its second season. All episodes of the new season will be broadcast simultaneously. Season 2 also consists of eight episodes and is hosted by SNL’s returning Mikey Day.
Elizabeth is one of 10 chefs hoping to take home their share of the $120,000 prize pool on June 30.

Elizabeth Rowe Job
Elizabeth Rowe has owned The London Baker (Castle Hills The Colony, Texas) since 2005. Through her business, she began bringing American confections to her native England. Then she decided to bring England to America when she moved to the Dallas-Fort Worth area and opened The London Baker.
“I just wanted to [The London Baker] to be literally like someone traveling to London,” said Elizabeth. “They can mostly put their problems behind them, their lives behind them, and just feel like they’ve stepped into something else. I wanted them to feel special.”
Elizabeta has been making cakes for seventeen years. Her goal of starting her own business came true in 2018 with the opening of The London Baker’s first location in Castle Hills. She developed a second location nearby at The Realm in Castle Hills and soon outgrew the original.
According to Elizabeth, The London Baker wants to give Lewisville a taste of London. The specialty of the bakery is custom-made cakes for weddings and other events. Standard options on the tea menu include Earl Gray lattes and London Fog.
London Baker is unique because of its authenticity, according to Elizabeth. Everything is handmade from scratch. Chocolate Chip Cookies, Lemon Blueberry Cookies, and Sausage Rings are some of the most popular treats. She stated, “[We want] get [the food] as close to the authentic taste as you can find in Britain.”
Elizabeth’s baking skills have been featured on several Food Network television shows, such as “Cake Wars” and “Dallas Cakes”. The cake starts at $45 and has reached $6,000 — the most expensive cake Elizabeth has ever made. “It’s literally all hands on deck to make sure it’s done within 48 hours,” she said.
