The RHONY star reportedly earned his license to sell while in college at age 19. And at 23, she had successfully worked on four new development projects. Since then, he has dedicated himself to brokerage and development, strengthening his advantage.
This NYU grad also started and later sold her fashion business called Framework.

In 1980, Dorothy tried her hand at entrepreneurship and founded Somek Realty Co., a company focused on the sale and rental of real estate. Soon recognized for her talent, she leased units from the original sponsor and from 1993 to 1996 she sold more than 50 percent of the building.
He was also at the time a member of the Board of Directors for the Residential Division of the New York Real Estate Board.
